The Shared Residence Initiative advocates for a modern child law that anchors equal parental responsibility as the legal guiding model – with clear protective limits in cases of violence and consistent prevention of contact breakdowns. The initiative works at the Austrian and European level on a legal reform that structurally safeguards the child's best interests.

The Men's House offers men in acute separation crises a safe, low-threshold point of contact – and prevents escalations before they permanently burden families and children. It creates space for stabilization, legal guidance and initial psychosocial support, without those affected having to immediately navigate a complete support system.

The Award makes businesses visible that deliberately take responsibility for children and young people in everyday life – whether through family-friendly working hours, active support for fathers or awareness-raising within the company.
